Star Wars

You know what??? I've suddenly become obsessed with Star Wars! I now enjoy trawling through the extremely detailed Star Wars wiki here just to read some obscure article about something that was mentioned for about 2 seconds in the movies. Right now, I like Star Wars so much that I watched the original trilogy in about 3 days, all weekdays. Sigh... Now I just have to go into an informational essay about what exactly Star Wars is. If you've never heard of it, you're probably part of an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon, but whatever. So anyways, Star Wars is a "space opera" consisting of 6 movies, all taking place in a "galaxy far, far away". It tells the story of the Skywalker family and their life with the Jedi, a secret society created to keep peace in the Galactic Republic. THey get their power from a kind of energy called "the Force" that flows through everything. THe plotline is about how the users of the Dark Side of the Force, the Sith, destroy the Jedi and form an evil Galactic Empire. The child of a man that betrayed the Jedi and became a Sith, Luke Skywalker, eventually kills the Sith lord.
