Remembering 9/11

The events of 8 years ago today rocked our world. 4 planes smashed into the North and South World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. When we grieved, the world grieved with us. Almost 3000 people died in this horrific act of violence. Our country has never been the same after this event. Airline security was greatly changed after they had been tricked so easily. We should simply remember those brave people that had not run away, but had gone toward the huge mess: the firefighters, the saviors, the rescuers. These amazing people were civilians, normal people with families and friends. They willingly walked to an almost certain death. But our great country will not be permanently affected by this gruesome, sad, evil event. We will rebuild by building the Freedom Tower, a 1776-feet tall building at the same site as the Twin Towers, now called Ground Zero. Now let's have a moment of silence for everyone that gave their lives that day, who didn't deserve to die, who are the real saviors of mankind. Thank you. (Hopefully i didn't sound too much like a preacher)
