Blackberry vs. iPhone: Which one are you?

The largest contenders for the top spot in the ever-growing smartphone industry are Research in Motion, based in Waterloo, Ontario, and Apple, based in Cupertino, California. Their smartphones, as you probably know, are the Blackberry and the iPhone. Research in Motion has a more aggressive system for getting customers, because the Blackberry is its main product. The iPhone, however, was a lucky success, and Apple doesn't actively try to compete with RIM. iPhone is being supported by more and more companies as a phone for their employees. The Blackberry, even though it was thought to be more business-oriented, is making great headway with the average consumer. RIM was founded in1984 on the 2nd floor of another shop. The founders realized the importance of email and how much money they would make by putting it into a phone. The Blackberry was originally thought to be mostly a business-oriented product, but it is now quite a consumer product as well. The iPhone was made mostly as an extention to the iPod touch. Apple didn't really have an active advertising campaign for the iPhone, but it was still extremely popular. Though it was meant to be a personal product, many business are supporting it and providing it to their employees.
