After the explosion of the Internet in the 90's, many new forms of communication, entertainment, and even forms of art have been created. One of the more common ones is known as blogging. "Blog" is short for "Weblog", or a log/journal, on the web. You can either compare it to a newspaper commentary, sharing opinions about events and such, or to a (not so)private diary, sharing all your thoughts and feelings. There are many types of blogs, like political blogs, scientific blogs, Splogs (spam blogs), and much, much more. After its initial popularity, many websites have popped up that have blogging functions. Instead of writing a review of each, I will link you to an example blog from each format:
