What's more important? A species of animal or a bunch of dead animals compressed into a liquid? Most people would say the former. However, what if the latter was oil? How many of you would have switched answers? Don't be shy, tell the truth! Our world has become so dependent on oil that we don't care about animals anymore. Sarah Palin wanted to kill off the polar bears in order to drill for oil in Alaska. People are basically fighting wars over drilling sites right now. Why all this trouble for a black liquid?? We should be finding different ways to meet our energy needs, not fight over oil, and destroy habitats to mine it. We need to stop global warming, not help it by using fossil fuels. So what's wrong with those crazy conservatives? Why don't they realize our planet is at stake, not just their money???
